April 2012 Entry
This month sees the publication of the penetrating and incisive biography of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, entitled The Untold Life of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, by the London and New York Times best selling Author Lady Colin Campbell. ........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ July 2011 Entry Nesta Wyn Ellis's biography of the Marquess of Bath, Lord of Love, which Dynasty published in October 2010, has been much in the news recently. Two of his wifelets ended up having fisticuffs over which of them would be sleeping with him that particular night. The Police were called and one of them taken to the hospital for treatment. In her unauthorized biography, which Lord Bath ill-advisedly co-operated with in its earlier phase (thereby ensuring her access and accuracy, Nesta takes us into the incredible world which this multimillionaire aristocrat and successful businessman occupies at his stately home, the fabled Elizabethan palace known as Longleat. Few people nowadays live as Lord Bath does. He is truly an Ottoman Sultan in England, with all the splendour, intrigue, and magnificence of a nineteenth-century potentate with access to a fulltime harem. Liz Brewer's etiquette and party-planning guide was launched the week before Royal Ascot at Dukes Hotel on Friday the 10th June . On the following Friday, she presided over another launch party, this time at the Westbury Hotel in Mayfair. Both were glamorous events, with many of the leading lights of the Smart Set turning out, including royal biographer Lady Colin Campbell, Rich Lilsters Terence and Nicky Cole, publisher Baron Marc Burca, billionheiress Lisa Tchenguiz, renowned artist-of-interiors Rupert Dixon, cosmetic surgery councillor Cindy Jackson, and the beautiful Angela Muir Bedall. Everyone who has ever come across pet lovers knows that they have a strong, unifying bond through their love of animals. Working with them, it turns out, is one of life's unexpceted pleasures, as we at Dynasty have discovered while we have been preparing With Love From Pet Heaven, by Tum Tum the Springer Spaniel, for general release. We have also been amused by enquiries as to whether the new Duchess of Cambmridge is the author of the book. So far, we have been obliged to remain mum, as our contract with the author prevents us from revealing her identity without her approval. Although we can confirm that the book is written by a tall, slender, beautiful female with a ducal title, we are not at liberty to provide any more infomration than that at this juncture. We hope this will change, for we believe the book has universal appeal and will ultimately become a best seller. As anyone who has watched Liz Brewer on Ladette to Lady can attest to, she is a force of nature, and a very intelligent, practical one at that. This comes across entertainingly in her Guide to Etiquette and Party Planning which Dynasty has just published. She also remains a most attractive woman who surrounds herself with some of the richest, chicest, most fashionable people in London, as her launch parties, featured in Hello and OK Magazine. ![]() ![]()
